The country’s foreign exchange reserves today touched a new record of over US$42 billion amid coronavirus crisis.
The inflow of remittance added toraise the foreign exchange reserve to over 42 billion, a senior official of theBangladesh Bank told BSS today.
Earlier, the previous highest reserves amounting $41.02 billion wererecorded on October 29 this year.
The official said remittance is the key driver to raise the reserve to thehighest point.
