
Amazon’s online marketplace is enjoying huge growth by adding 295,000 new sellers to e-commerce outlets in the first few months of 2021.
As of March 21, data collected by Marketplace Pulse 3, Amazon34 new third-party vendors become part of the Amazon Marketplace every day, or the equivalent of 155 per hour.
According to estimates from the data, by the end of 2021, the Amazon Marketplace is expected to add about 1.4 million additional online businesses to this number.
The U.S. e-commerce market represents 26% of the overall share, 76,769. This affects the seller’s sign-up list. However, the Indian version of Amazon’s marketplace has added 29,798 new outlets or 10.1% so far this year. The Amazon Marketplace in Canada also enjoyed rapid growth, with 22,088 new sellers added to the list. The UK also added 19,944 reputable e-commerce outlets or strengthened the headline number with an overall total of 6.8%.
