Brent oil prices rose to $71 on Tuesday, the highest level since March, in anticipation of rising fuel demand for the summer driving season in the United States.
Prices were also raised with Chinese data showing that the country’s factory activity grew the fastest in May this year.
Brent crude futures for August delivery rose $1.76, or 2.5%, to 28 71.08 a barrel at 1228 GMT. The West Texas Intermediate crude for July price in the United States was .568.55. It rose $ 2.23 or 3.4% from near Friday without any settlement price for Monday due to a public holiday in the United States.
Brent had previously touched a session high of ১ 1.18, the highest inter-day price since March 8.Share this post:
