Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) has signed a training accreditation agreement on Thursday with the United Kingdom based BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT, formerly known as the British Computer Society.
The agreement was signed at the opening session of ‘Bangladesh Investment Summit 2021: Building Sustainable Growth Partnership’ organized by Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) inaugurated by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
BASIS president Syed Almas Kabir, BCS Learning & Development Ltd managing director Lucy Ireland MBCS and Stephen Tweed of International Onboarding & Support, BCS L&D were present at the signing programme on behalf of their respective institutions. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina witnessed the signing as the chief guest of the programme.
Private Sector Industry and Investment Adviser to Prime Minister Salman F Rahman, Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) Chairman Professor Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam, Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Md Sirazul Islam, State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak, and BSEC Chairman Professor Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam, Bangladesh Export Processing Area Authority (BEPZA) Executive Chairman Major General Md Nazrul Islam and Bangladesh High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Saida Muna Tasnim were also present in the inaugural ceremony of the summit.Share this post:
