A woman and her son, were killed as a train crashed into them in Bangladesh Agriculture University’s gate number-1 on Saturday noon (October 31).

The deceased were known as Yeasmin, 28 and her three-year-old son Sani. They are hailed from Kalapara village of Dapunia union of Sadar upazila.

Mymensingh railway police station OC Mazharul Islam said, the accident took place as a Mymensingh-bound train hit around 1:15 pm.

The bodies were sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
