All int’l flights suspended till April 20

The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) decided to suspend all international flights from 14 April to April 20 as the government is going to impose a strict lockdown to contain the spread of Covid-19.

CAAB Chairman M Mafidur Rahman confirmed the matter on Sunday (April 11).

He said that all domestic and international flights will remain shut due to the lockdown. However, cargo plane service will continue. Special flights can be operated considering emergency.

Earlier, the civil aviation regulator suspended the entry of passengers from all European countries, except the UK, and 12 other countries to Bangladesh from 3 April.
