Two motorcyclists were killed while another sustained injuries as a truck hit their motorbike in Natore district on Saturday morning.

The accident took place near around 8.00am in Ferryghat Bridge area of Natore-Bogura highway.

Singra police station sub-inspector Kishore Kumar Roy confirmed the news.

The deceased were identified as Khalilur Rahman, founder teacher of Tebaria Halimatus Sadia Madrasa, and Belal Hossain, a teacher of the madrasa.

The injured is Abdul Hamid, another teacher of the madrasa.

According to sources, the truck hit the motorbike with three riders, leaving two of them dead on the spot. The injured was taken to Singra Upazila Health Complex.
