
The import and export activities through Hili land port in Dinajpur have remained suspended on the occasion of Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal, India.
Abdul Aziz, acting president of the port’s Clearing and Forwarding (C&F) Agent Association, confirmed the matter on Monday (April 26).
“No truck carrying goods can enter the port from today morning on the occasion of Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal, India. Despite closure of product import from India, all internal activities of the port will remain normal,” Aziz said.
The import and export activities through the Hili land port will resume from tomorrow morning following closure of a day, he further said.
