Eighty-five Chinese nationals, working at a dual fuel combined cycle power plant being built inside the Khulna Power Plant in Khalishpur, have tested Covid-19 positive.

Already 19 people have tested negative. But, the remaining 66 people are still positive.

Zahid Hossain, deputy project director of the power plant, confirmed the matter.

He said 85 Chinese nationals working in the project tested Covid-19 positive in the last one month (April 18 to May 18). Of these, only 19 have been negative. The patients are in home quarantine under their own management.
