19 more people have died from coronavirus infections and coronavirus-like symptoms while undergoing treatment at the corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).

Confirming the matter this morning, RMCH Director Brig Gen Shamim Yazdani said the deaths were reported in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on Monday (July 05) to 8:00am today, Tuesday (July 06).

Of the 19 deaths, four were coronavirus positive and remaining 15 died of symptoms similar to that of coronavirus.

Of the dead, 10 were in Rajshahi district, two in Naogaon, two in Natore and one each in Pabna, Kushtia, Chuadanga and Joypurhat, he said.

A total of 354 people died at the corona unit of the hospital in the month of June.
