Khulna division reported 51 more coronavirus (Covid-19) deaths in the last 24 hours.

The deaths were reported between 8:00am on Wednesday (July 07) and 8:00am on Thursday (July 08).

Dr Rasheda Sultana, divisional director of health, confirmed this information.

Some 1,732 new Covid-19 cases have been detected in the division over the same period.

According to the office of divisional director of health, 21 people died of coronavirus infections in Khulna, 10 in Kushtia, six in Jashore, three each in Jhenaidah, Chuadanga, Narail and Magura, one each in Meherpur and Bagerhat.
