14 more people have died from coronavirus infections and coronavirus-like symptoms while undergoing treatment at the corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).

Confirming the matter this morning, RMCH Director Brig Gen Shamim Yazdani said the deaths were reported in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on Sunday (July 11) to 8:00am today, Monday (July 12).

Of the 14 deaths, six were coronavirus positive, four died of symptoms similar to that of coronavirus and the remaining four died of breathing difficulties, he said.

Of the dead, five were in Rajshahi district, two in Chapainawabganj, four in Natore, two in Naogaon and one in Pabna, he added.

With them, the number of Covid-19 deaths in the hospital rose to 204 in eleven days of this month.

A total of 354 people died at the corona unit of the hospital in the month of June.
