Police on Friday (July 23) held six people while taking away empty oxygen cylinder from the store of Rangpur Medical College and Hospital (RpMCH) with fake invoice. Law enforcers also seized three trucks at that time.

They were held as Abu Sayeed Khan Babu, gas planet in-charge of RpMCH, sensed doubt over the invoice while loading on the truck.

Abdur Rashid, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kotwali Police Station under Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RMP), confirmed the matter.

The detainees are truck drivers and their associates, he added.
