Eight more people have died from coronavirus (Covid-19) infections and coronavirus-like symptoms while undergoing treatment at different hospitals in Chuadanga district.

Confirming the matter this morning, Chuadanga Civil Surgeon Dr A SM Maruf Hasan said the deaths were reported in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on Tuesday (August 3) to 8:00am today, Wednesday (August 04).

Of the 8 deaths, two people died of Covid-19 infections while the remaining six died of symptoms similar to that of coronavirus, he said.
