12 more people died of coronavirus (Covid-19) infections in Chattogram Metropolitan city and different upazilas of Chattogram district in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of deaths in the port city to 1,094.

Besides, some 2,883 people were tested for coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Of them, a total of 772 people tested positive for the virus. With the new cases, the total number of confirmed cases in Chattagram stood at 92,679.

Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi confirmed the information on Wednesday (August 11).
