Khulna division reported 21 more coronavirus (Covid-19) deaths in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of deaths in the division to 2,791.

The deaths were reported between 8:00am on Friday (August 13) and 8:00am on Saturday (August 14).

Besides, some 322 new Covid-19 cases were detected in the division over the same period, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 1,03,522.

Dr Jashim Uddin Howlader, divisional director of Health, confirmed this information.

According to the office of divisional director of health, a maximum nine people died of coronavirus infections in Kushtia district, seven in Khulna, two each in Jashore and Meherpur, and one in Narail.
