The United Kingdom (UK) has reported 79 cases of blood clots after receiving the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine. 19 of them died.
The countr’s drug regulator said on Wednesday (April 07).
June Raine, Chief Executive of the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), said, “Over 20 million doses of vaccine have been given by March 31. We have reported 79 cases of blood clots. Of them, 19 people have sadly died.”
