The month-long 19th Asian Art Biennale Bangladesh will be held between December 8 and January 7 on the premises of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy here.

The decision was taken in the second meeting of the publicity sub-committee of the exhibition at the Jatiya Chitrashala of the academy.

Academy’s Director General Liaquat Ali Lucky chaired the meeting.

He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the exhibition.

A total of 712 artworks of some 465 artists of 113 countries including Bangladesh will be displayed in the exhibition which will be arranged by Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy under the patronisation of Cultural Affairs Ministry, he added.
