Export-import activities through Hili land port in Dinajpur was suspended on Monday and Tuesday on the occasion of the holy Shab-e-Barat and Dol Utsav, the religious festivals of Hindu community and Muslim Community respectively.

The port’s Clearing and Forwarding (C&F) Agent Association President Abdul Aziz said the traders took the decision as the two days are public holidays in India and Bangladesh respectively.

Load-unloading activities and movement of passengers between two countries will be continued.

The export-import activities between two countries will resume from March 31, he added.
