Navana Group, a Bangladeshi business conglomerate, has announced the appointment of Wahed Azizur Rahman as its new Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The appointment took retrospective effect from February 1 2021, said a press release issued on Wednesday.

Wahed Rahman, a Chartered Certified Account (ACCA) from the UK, was the executive director of Apex Husain Group, prior to joining Navana Group.

He also served in strategic leadership capacities both at home and abroad, in global companies, such as, Coats, Reckitt Benckiser and British American Tobacco.

According to the release, in his role as the Group CEO, Wahed Rahman will have strategic oversight of the business units in Navana Group.
