Marina Yasmin Chowdhury, sponsor director of Prime Bank and vice-chairperson of East Coast Group, breathed her last on Saturday in Square Hospital in Dhaka.

She is the wife of Azam J Chowdhury, renowned industrialist, and mother of Tanjil Chowdhury, chairman of Prime Bank.

The Prime Bank Family is deeply mourning the sad demise of their revered guardian, the bank said in a press release.

She has been an inspirational icon to the bank, supporting the entity for long years with her valuable vision and foresight, the release also added.

The bank prayed for the salvation of her departed soul and conveyed their deepest condolences to her bereaved family.
