Hong Kong stocks opened with further
gains Tuesday following a strong performance on Wall Street fuelled by hopes
over Ukraine-Russia ceasefire talks.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.40 percent, or 86.32 points, to 21,771.29.
The Shanghai Composite Index inched up 0.05 percent, or 1.51 points, to
3,216.01, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China’s second exchange added
0.23 percent, or 4.73 points, to 2,101.24.
