Community Bank Bangladesh Limited (CBBL) has opened its sub-branch in Rajshahi aimed at contributing to its economic growth by providing financial products and services to the communities across geographies.
CBBL, a concern of Bangladesh Police Kallyan Trust, has been established with a vision to serve communities with the tailor made secured solutions abiding by the highest level of corporate governance.
Commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) Abu Kalam Siddique accompanied by other dignitaries concerned opened the branch in the Malopara area in the city today.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Kalam Siddique said the Bangladesh Police has been working relentlessly for brightening the country’s image. Similarly, the CBBL will attain confidence of the consumers in general in every corner of the country through its disciplined, transparent and accountable services.
He also said the bank, in near future, will become the ever-largest trusted financial institution through its peoples-friendly services.
In his remarks, CBBL Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mashiul Haque said state-of-the-art Core banking system is an enabler to operate centrally in optimum magnitude. CBBL runs on its three core building blocks as well as trust, security and progress.
CBBL Deputy Managing Director Mainul Kabir, President of Rajshahi Chamber of Commerce and Industries Masudur Rahman and RMP Additional Commissioners Faruque Hossain, Bijoy Basak and Shamsun Nahar, among others, were present on the occasion.
