The names of 147,537 heroic freedom fighters and martyred intellectuals have been published.

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque said announced the list of freedom fighters at the conference room of The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs on Thursday (March 25).

The Minister said, “We are working through the proper process of investigation and verification from the grassroots level. We have published the name list of 147,537 freedom fighters in the first phase.

Names of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, four top national leaders and 191 martyred intellectuals were mentioned at first phase of the list.
