The intern doctors at Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) have gone on a work abstention from Wednesday morning.

Interns have gone on a work abstention in protest against the attack on intern doctors by outsiders and demanding punishment to the culprits.

Hospital police outpost in-charge Zahurul Haque confirmed the news that the intern doctors did not join the work on Wednesday.

The intern doctors claimed that they were attacked on Tuesday night after two groups of BCL men clashed at the medical college.
