Bangladesh reported 31 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, raising the toll to 12,076 across the country.

Besides, 1,290 new cases were detected over the same period, raising the total number of infections to 7,78,687 across the country so far.

A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the development on Thursday (May 13).
