Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has urged journalists to have patience and play a responsible role over Prothom Alo senior reporter Rozina Islam issue.

He said, “As a lawsuit was filed over the issue and the case is under trial. Hope, the journalist will get justice.”

He further said, “If any injustice happened against her, steps would be taken against those to be found guilty according to the report to be submitted by the probe body.”

Obaidul Quader was addressing a programme virtually on Wednesday (May 19).
