Next steps would be taken through discussion with lawyers after Rozina Islam makes recovery from her illness, her family said.

Sabina Parvin, younger sister of Prothom Alo senior reporter Rozina Islam who was released from jail on Sunday (May 23), told this to risingbd.

She said, “Rozina’s health condition is not so good. Now she needs treatment. Step steps would be taken through discussion with lawyers after she made recovery.”

Rozina Islam was admitted to the capital’s Square Hospitals around 6:25 pm on Sunday, after she was released from jail.

She came out from Kashimpur Women Central Jail around 4:15 pm.

Earlier at the noon, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Baki Billah granted interim bail to Rozina Islam on a bond of Tk 5,000 and on the condition that she will submit her passport.
