
Bangladesh recorded 8,822 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, which is the highest single-day infection toll of the deadly virus so far, raising the total number of cases to 9,13,258 across the country.
Besides, 115 more deaths from the virus were reported in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 14,503 in the country.
A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the development on Wednesday (June 30).
Besides, a total of 4,550 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 8,16,250, the release said.
