Bangladesh recorded more 143 deaths due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, which is the highest single-day death, raising the death toll to 14,646.

Besides, as many as 8,301 infections were reported between 8am and Thursday, raising the total number of cases to 9, 21,559.

A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the development on Thursday (July 1).

Besides, a total of 4,663 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 8,20,913, the release said.
