The government has announced Covid-19 tests free for the poor people during the month of July.

A press release signed by Dr Bilkis Begum, deputy secretary of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the matter on Thursday (July 1).

The press release said that following the coronavirus upsurge in the country it has become difficult for low income families to have multiple tests done for their family members.

In this circumstances, the authority has directed all government healthcare organizations to make the Coronavirus tests free for the unprivileged people.
