Bangladesh reported 201 more deaths of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, which is the single-day highest death from the virus, raising the toll to 15,593 across the country so far.

Besides, 11,162 new cases were reported during the same period, raising the total number of cases to 9, 77,568.

A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the development on Wednesday (July 7).

Besides, a total of 5,987 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 8,50,502, the release said.
