A total of 18 people died of coronavirus (Covid-19) infections and coronavirus-like symptoms in the past 24 hours at Kushtia Corona Dedicated Hospital.

Of the 18 deaths, 15 people died of Covid-19 infections and the rest three died of symptoms similar to that of coronavirus.

The deaths were reported in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on Friday (July 09) to 8:00am today, Saturday (July 10).
As many as 176 tested positive for the virus over the same time.

Dr Abdul Momen, caretaker at the Kushtia General Hospital, confirmed the information on Saturday (July 10).
