Five members of a family including a child were burnt in a gas cylinder explosion in Birbhagir area of Riverview in South Keraniganj on Thursday night.

They were admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute around 10.00pm.

They are Raju Ahmed, 28, his two daughters Jannat, 5, and Roja, 3, sister Sharmin, 24, and cousin Habibur Rahman, 19.
