Braving all sorts of odds, the city people in thousands are leaving capital Dhaka for their respective village homes to celebrate the Eid-ul-Azha with their near and dear ones.
In capital Dhaka, the home-bound passengers are crowding railway stations and Sadarghat launch and Gabtoli, Sayedabad and Mohakhali inter-district bus terminals.
Dhaka city-dwellers started leaving the city on Thursday afternoon.
During visit it was seen that from early Friday Sayedabad Bus Terminal was overflowing with thousands of people.
Eid-ul-Azha, one of the biggest religious festivals for the Muslims, will be celebrated in the country on July 21.
