The strict lockdown announced by the government before the holy Eid-ul-Azha to prevent coronavirus (Covid-19) infections will begin from 6am tomorrow, Friday (July 23) and continue till August 5 midnight.
Earlier, the government eased the ongoing restrictions from July 14 midnight to 6am on July 23 on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha.
After visiting different areas of the capital including Khilgaon, Malibagh, Rajarbagh, Rampura and Moghbazar on Thursday (July 22) morning, the second day of Eid, it has been noticed that members of law enforcement agencies are taking a position at different thoroughfares and seen stopping public transports whether they are maintaining health guidelines or not.
Law enforcers also launched preparatory activities to create awareness among people about the health guidelines.
