Nine more people died of coronavirus (Covid-19) infections and coronavirus-like symptoms in the past 24 hours at 250-bed Kushtia Corona Dedicated Hospital.

The deaths were reported in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on Friday (August 06) to 8:00am today, Saturday (August 07).

Of the dead, eight people died of Covid-19 infections, and one died of symptoms similar to that of coronavirus.

As many as 75 people tested positive for the virus over the same time.

Md Mejbaul Alam, statistics officer of the Kushtia General Hospital, confirmed the information.
