Vaccination activities are underway across the country to prevent the coronavirus infection. Those who already have taken the first dose have no worries about the second dose as there enough jabs in storage, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

DGHS said, “The first dose has been given after confirming the second dose in reserve.”

Prof Dr Md Nazmul Islam, DGHS Spokesperson and Line Director, said this in a regular ‘Health Bulletin’ over coronavirus situation on Wednesday (August 11) noon.

He said, “We have enough jabs of Pfizer, Moderna and Sinopharm vaccine for the second dose. There is nothing to be worried over vaccination. We request you everyone not to pay heed to any kind of propaganda in this regard.”

Dr Nazmul Islam said, “A person who has taken the first dose of vaccine from the center, it has been mentioned time of the second dose on his vaccination card. According to that if someone gets Pfizer vaccine in the first dose, he will get the second dose of Pfizer vaccine. Similiarly, those have received vaccines of Moderna or Sinopharm as the first dose, they will be given Modernna and Sinopharm vaccine jabs.”
