Six members of the Detective Branch (DB) of police in Feni, who were arrested on charge of embezzling 20 gold bars from a businessman in name of arrest, have been temporarily suspended.

Khandakar Nurunnabi, Superintendent of Police (SP) in Feni, confirmed the action taken against them on Wednesday (August 11) afternoon.

They are: Feni DB police officer-in-charge inspector Md Saiful Islam, sub-inspector Motaher Hossain, SI Mizanur Rahman, SI Nurul Haque, assistant sub-inspector Abhijit Barua and ASI Masud Rana.
