A proposal has been sent to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to give 21-month age exemption for government job seekers, State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain said.

The minister said this while addressing reporters at his secretariat office on Thursday (August 12).

He said that those who turned 30 as of March 25 last year, they will be able to apply for government jobs till December 30, next year.

The state minister said, “We have provided incentives to people of various sectors. In this case, a proposal for government job seekers, has been sent to the Prime Ministers.”

It’s a huge assistance. After getting approval from the Prime Minister, we will issue gazette in this regard, he added.
