12 more people have died from coronavirus (Covid-19) infections and coronavirus-like symptoms while undergoing treatment at the corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).

Confirming the matter this morning, RMCH Director Brig Gen Shamim Yazdani said the deaths were reported in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on Saturday (August 14) to 8:00am today, Sunday (August 15).

Of the 12 deaths, seven people died of Covid-19 infections and the remaining five died of symptoms similar to that of coronavirus, he said.

Mentionable, a total of 354 people died at the corona unit of the hospital in the month of June and 535 people in July.
