Bangladesh reported 187 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 24,175 across the country so far.

Besides, 6,684 new cases were reported during the same period. With this, the total number of infections stood at 14,18,902 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Sunday (August 15).

Alongside, as many as 11,371 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 12, 92,698 the release said.
