A clash took place between BNP activists and police around 11.00am on Tuesday at Chandrima Uddan in the city.

The clash took place when the newly-formed committees of Dhaka Metropolitan North South units of BNP went there to pay homage at the grave of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman.

During that time, BNP activists vandalized the car of the secretary of planning ministry.

Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jane Alam Munshi said no one filed any case. If anyone files a case we will take a legal action.
