Bangladesh reported 114 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 25,627 across the country so far.

Besides, 4,966 new cases were reported during the same period. With this, the total number of infections stood at 14,77,930 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Wednesday (August 25).

Alongside, as many as 7, 808 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 13, 89,571 the release said.
