Bangladesh reported 102 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 25,729 across the country so far.

Besides, 4,698 new cases were reported during the same period. With this, the total number of infections stood at 14,82,628 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Thursday (August 26).

Alongside, as many as 8, 314 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 13, 97,885 the release said.
