Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun inaugurated the corner on the BSFIC premises on Tuesday

A Bangabandhu Corner has been inaugurated at the Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industries Corporation (BSFIC) premises to mark the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and 50 years of Bangladesh’s independence.

Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun inaugurated the corner on the BSFIC premises on Tuesday, said a press release.

BSFIC Chairman Md Arifur Rahman Apu presided over the inaugural function.

After the inauguration, Humayun also joined a discussion.

In his speech, the minister said that various steps have been taken to make the sugar mills profitable.

He also mentioned that with the joint efforts of all, the good times of the sugar industry will return soon.
