Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS) has increased the prices of gold again, by Tk3,226 per bhori.
Announcing the new prices through a statement on Thursday (March 9). The new prices will be effective across the country from today.
According to the new tariffs, now the price of the best quality of gold, 22 carats (11.664 grams), is Tk78,265 per bhori, 21 carats is Tk74,766, 18 carats is Tk64,152, and traditional gold is Tk53,421.
However, the price of silver has remained unchanged. The price of 22 carats silver is currently Tk1,516 per bhori, 21 carats is Tk1,435, 18 carats is Tk1,225, and traditional silver is Tk933.
