The Bangladesh Jewellers’ Samity (Bajus), the association of jewelers in the country, on Tuesday (March 8) decided to raise gold prices yet again.

The new price will be effective from Wednesday (March 9).

Each bhori of 22-carat gold will now cost Tk79,315, 21-carat will cost Tk75,699 and 18 carat will cost Tk64,968 in the local market.

Besides, the price of 18 carat gold acquired in the traditional method will be Tk54,062 per bhori.
