Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) has taken an initiative to set up seven substations under the project titled ‘Power Distribution System Development Project Cumilla Zone’. The project will cost Tk 160 crore 85 lakh 34 thousand 931.
Under the project, the power distribution system will be developed in Cumilla, Brahmanbaria, Chandpur, Noakhali, Feni and Lakshmipur districts.
ECNEC approved the project on January 23, 2021, and the project will be completed by June 30, 2023. There are six packages in the approved DPP. As it is difficult to complete such work together, the annual purchase plan has been prepared by dividing the package into four lots according to the type of work.
