At least five buses caught fire within one hour in the city on Thursday noon.

The incidents took place from 1.30pm to 2.30pm at Motijheel, Secretariat Crossing, Bangabandhu Avenue and Shahbagh.

Being informed, fire service men rushed to spots and doused the fire.

News of casualties was not found yet.

Officer-in-Charge of Shahbagh Thana Mamunur Rashid confirmed the news.
